KPMG is a global network of professional firms providing Audit, Tax and Legal, Advisory and Accounting services. We operate in 155 countries and have more than 174.000 people working in member firms around the world. Our flexible multidisciplinary teams of high performing people use their expertise and insight to give our clients tailored business advice and to guide them through the complexity of today’s local and international issues and regulations.
Our Global Mobility Services practice provides advice on individual income tax, wage tax, immigration, reward, social security and employment law issues relating to employees, executives and directors.
We collaborate with clients in every stage of the process and our people work together in multidisciplinary teams. This means that the advice we formulate is both innovative and technically sound. Building strong relationships is key to our success, both with clients and internally.
As a Senior Tax Adviser, you will be a part of an enthusiastic team helping multinational organizations to manage the process of deploying an international workforce from start to finish. Together with your colleagues, you will advise clients on all individual income tax aspects relating to their employees and directors, going from conducting tax counselling sessions and reviewing income tax returns to advising on equity based compensation and other remuneration techniques. You will have the opportunity to stay up-to-date and grow further in this area of expertise.
You have a university degree in Law or Applied Economics. A specialized degree in Tax is an asset. You have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in personal tax. Next to technical qualifications, we also highly value other competences:
- You are very motivated and carry a passion for this specific domain.
- You have good communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
- You are able to write to-the-point advice with a pragmatic approach, so that it’s accessible and clear to the client.
- You are a real team player, but you are also comfortable working independently.
Our employees are appreciated for their professional skills and expertise. We commit ourselves to encourage true team spirit and create an international and dynamic working environment in which everyone can pursue the knowledge needed to boost their career. We offer you an attractive and motivating compensation package, the opportunity to work for major clients in various industry sectors, continuous support in your professional development and real career opportunities.
KPMG Tax & Legal Advisers have access to state of the art tools, solutions and support (IT, library, and databases) to allow you to concentrate on the work and maximize your efficiency. We heavily invest in our people in terms of training, welfare, incentive and reward, and pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly, informal and sociable working atmosphere.
